Green Team San Joaquin

A collaborate effort between private businesses, municipal and country solid waste division, economic development professionals and the community of San Joaquin County. This program creates the nexus to enhance the delivery of services and to address economic development and market development issues in Stockton and San Joaquin County.

Permits in San Joaquin County

The SJC Community Development Department

This department handles all of your building permit needs for projects located in the unincorporated areas of San Joaquin County. This site also provides aerial images of locations within the county, enables you to research building permit records, and an online permit system.

City of Stockton Fire Prevention

The Fire Prevention Division assists contractors and business owners in obtaining proper fire department permits as required by the California Fire Code. On this page you will find a fee schedule reflecting permit inspection fees for the City of Stockton.

SJC Environmental Health Department

All hazardous waste and underground storage tanks permits are obtained through the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA).

SJC Office of Emergency Services

This department implements the Hazardous Materials (Business Plan) program for the Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) in San Joaquin County.  All above ground storage tanks must be registered with the CUPA.  Useful forms are available at their website.
